National Works and Engineering Conference - Victoria
Each year TAMS send two representatives to the National Conference.
One representative is from the Management Committee and one from the general membership.
For a member to be eligible to be considered as a representative the following criteria applies:
“The criteria for a member to be eligible to be considered as a representative is attendance at 100% of the available Ordinary General Meetings held in the previous twelve months. If no member meets this criteria the Management Committee will decide on who should attend the Conference."

Lance Holmes Awards - 2012 NOW OPEN
The Lance Holmes Awards are aimed to encourage professional development opportunities for applicants working in Local Government in Tasmania
Up to four Awards will be made, each to the value of $1,500, to enable the successful applicants to:
- Participate in an exchange program, or
- Attend an approved training program, or
- Attend an approved conference or other training opportunity in Australia.
Applications close 25th August 2011
