The aims and objectives of the Association are to provide a central organization of supervisors associated with Local Government and related organizations and to promote co-operation, mutual assistance and good fellowship between them and throughout Local Government.

To arrange, convene and hold conferences and regional meetings as may be considered necessary by the Association from time to time for discussing subjects relating to Local Government.

To print and distribute to its members, papers especially prepared for the Association and any records, extracts and abstracts relating to the Association.
